Ölvisholt brugghus ISLAND
The olvisholt brewery was founded in 2007 by two neighbouring farmers in south Iceland that shared the dream of introducing something more complicated than the Euro Style Lager to the thirsty Icelander. They soon found out that they would need to concentrate on export if they were to survive as the population of Iceland only consists of 300 thousand people.
Today Ölvisholt is exporting their beers to Sweden, Denmark, Canada and soon to come the US.
Jon E. Gunnlaugsson will give a one hour long lecture about how to run a brewery in the middle of nowhere and you will do tastings of Ölvisholt Freyja, Skjalfti, Mori and Lava.
